A man walked down a beach, and came across a young boy throwing a starfish back into the ocean. The beach was littered with starfish as far as the eye could see, from the recent tide. “You’ll never get all these back in the ocean, young man - do you think you’re making any difference?”, he said. Picking up another starfish and hurling it toward the surf, the boy replied, “it makes a difference to that one”.
